Kali Mata

	Kali Mata is the goddess of time and of the transformation that is death (Kala).

The name Kali means black, but mean force of time (kala). Despite her negative connotations, she is today considered the goddess of time and change.
She is also revered as Bhavatarini . Comparatively recent devotional movements largely conceive Kali as a benevolent Mother of Goddess .
